Dr. Jyoti Mukhopadhyay is a visiting professor at Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. He is an Engineering Graduate from Calcutta University, Master of Engineering from Roorkee University, Presently, known as Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
He has also served as Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre falling under Ministry of Mines, Government of India for over 8 years. He was also awarded as the “Metallurgist of the Year – 2001” by Ministry of Steel, Government of India.
