An online joint Hindi workshop was organized on 21.01.2022 for micro member offices of Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Undertaking), Hyderabad-Secunderabad by Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) and TOLIC (U). 47 Officials from 17 member offices and 10 senior officials of MIDHANI have attended the workshop.
In the first session, Shri Homnidhi Sharma, DGM, HR-OL, BDL & Member Secretary, TOLIC (U) has delivered a lecture on the OL Policy of GoI and its implementation. In his lecture, he highlighted the responsibilities of the officers with respect to the implementation of Official Language and also asked them to plan and work to achieve the targets set in the annual program released by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He has also given updated information in connection to OL implementation to the participants.
In the second session, Mohd. Kamaluddin, Assistant Director, Hindi Teaching Scheme, Vishakhapatnam, DOL, MHA, GoI enlightened the participants about the creation and usage of technical terminology. He also underlines the meaningful usage of technical terminology in official work while drafting-noting, correspondence, etc., and conducted the online practice of the same.
