Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a premier metallurgical company under the Ministry of Defence, concluded a successful participation at Aero India 2025, held from February 10-14 in Bengaluru. The event provided MIDHANI with a platform to showcase its advanced materials and innovations that are vital to India’s aerospace, defense, and space sectors.
MIDHANI highlighted its role as a key contributor to India’s defense and aerospace capabilities, unveiling three indigenously developed aerospace materials: High-Temperature Nickel Alloy Billets, Alloy S152 Forged Bars, and Superni 41 Plates. These materials are critical to the development of advanced aircraft, jet engines, and space technologies, positioning MIDHANI as a leader in next-generation aerospace materials. The company’s specialized products include high-strength titanium alloys, nickel-based superalloys, and corrosion-resistant steels that power India’s Tejas fighter jet, ISRO’s space missions, and future aerospace projects.
Hon’ble Defence Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh felicitated MIDHANI’s employees were with Certificates of Appreciation for their significant contributions in indegenising two strategic alloys, during “SAMRTYA” – an event organised during Aero India 2025. These awards underscore MIDHANI’s commitment to innovation and excellence in meeting the nation’s aerospace and defense needs.
Additionally, MIDHANI has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with ADA, Jay Jagdamba, and NBC Bearings, fostering new business collaborations and strengthening its position in the aerospace supply chain.
MIDHANI continues to enhance domestic manufacturing, reduce import dependency, and deliver high-performance materials essential for national security and technological advancements.
