MIDHANI participated in the 11th edition of Defexpo20 from February 5, 2020 to February 9, 2020 at Lucknow.The Expo was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The eventwas also attended by Hon’ble Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath & several national & international delegates.
MIDHANI Capabilities Showcased at Defexpo20
• Dr Dinesh Kumar Likhi – C&MD; MIDHANI, Hyderabad & Ms. Mamutova Assem Tlekovna – President UKTMP, Kazakhstan signed MoU to work together on manufacture of Titanium based products for defense sector at Defexpo20. The event was attended by Mr Silvan Gehler (Head of board of directors of UKTMP) and key officials from MIDHANI & UKTMP.
• Dr Dinesh Kumar Likhi – C&MD; MIDHANI, Hyderabad & Mr. Viacheslav V Voronov– Director of Foreign Economic Company at JSC Shipbuilding &Ship repair Technology Center, Russia exchanged MoU to jointly work in design, manufacture, repair, testing and certification of ship board pipeline valves and fittings at Defexpo20. The event was attended by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Jha (D(P&M) – MIDHANI), Ms Anastasiya V Bobrous (Head of External Relations Department) and officials from MIDHANI, JSC Shipbuilding & Ship repair Technology Center.
• MIDHANI signed 8 Memorandums of Understanding with domestic & international organisations at the ‘Bandhan’ Ceremony at DefExpo’20 in the august presence of Hon’ble RM, Hon’ble UP CM, Hon’ble RRM, Defence Secretary, Chairman of DRDO & Secretary (Department of Defence R&D) & other key officials from GoI & UP state government.
• Dr. Dinesh Kumar Likhi, C&MD MIDHANI, moderated a panel discussion at Defexpo20. R&D and IT officers of MIDHANI presented on the topic “Alloy development through Artificial Intelligence”
• Dr Sanjay Kumar Jha, D(P&M) MIDHANI, shared his views on emerging areas of additive manufacturing, advanced & smart materials.

MIDHANI has encouraged about 500 MSME & other vendors. The vendors participating in @DefExpo20 are Runflat Tire Systems, Bay Forge Pvt. Ltd., Mahalaxmi Alloys & Metals Pvt. Ltd., Habor Paul International Pvt. Ltd., Bharij Fabricators, Sama Techno Cast, & Fine Forge Pvt. Ltd,SIFL etc.
