A grand celebration of World Hindi Day 2026 was organized at Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a prestigious Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The programme was conducted under the aegis of the Official Language Implementation Committee (OLIC). The event was presided over by Dr. S. V. S. Narayan Murthy, Chairman & Managing Director, MIDHANI. On the occasion, Smt. K. Madhubala, Director (Finance), graced the programme with her esteemed presence. The main highlight of the event was a Humour and Satire Poets’ Meet, during which renowned Hindi poets Dr. Rishabhdeo Sharma, Shri Venugopal Bhattad, and Shri Waheed Qadri Pasha captivated the audience with their powerful, humorous, and thought-provoking poetic compositions. The auditorium resonated with laughter, applause, and the vibrant spirit of Hindi throughout the poets’ meet.
