MIDHANI celebrated the 76th Republic Day with immense pride and a deep reflection on India’s constitutional values. The event was graced by Shri N. Gowri Sankara Rao, Director (Finance) and Additional Charge C&MD, who delivered a powerful address emphasizing MIDHANI’s contribution to India’s self-reliance in critical alloys and its continued dedication to the nation’s progress. The Republic Day celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Shri N. Gowri Sankara Rao garu, followed by the National Anthem.

Shri Rao highlighted several significant achievements, including the company’s highest-ever revenue of Rs. 1,072.67 Cr. in FY 2023-24 and record exports of Rs. 63 Cr. The company also reported its highest value of production at Rs. 1,147.64 Cr., underscoring its pivotal role in the Defence, Aerospace, and Strategic sectors. As part of its corporate social responsibility, MIDHANI continues to invest in health, education, and skill development, with notable contributions to BPDAV School. The company is focused on enhancing its order book and strengthening collaborations with international partners to ensure sustainable growth.

The Republic Day celebrations also included a vibrant cultural program by BPDAV School students, who displayed the rich cultural heritage of India. Additionally, merit scholarships were awarded to the children of MIDHANI employees excelling in their studies at BPDAV School. In recognition of long-serving employees, MIDHANI presented mementos and shawls to those who have completed 25 years of dedicated service.

The celebration of 75 years of Republic Day concluded with the National Song. On this occasion, Shri T. Muthukumar, Director (Production & Marketing), Presidents and Members of the recognized unions MW&SU, MOA & MEA, employees of MIDHANI, students, teachers and parents of BPDAV School were present.
