MIDHANI observed the Vigilance Awareness Week – 2021 from 26.10.2021 to 01.11.2021 with the theme “Independent India @ 75 : Self Reliance with Integrity; स्वतंत्र भारत @ 75 : सत्यनिष्ठा से आत्म निर्भरता” . The Week is being celebrated every year during the week in which 31st October, the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel falls.
The observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with the administering of the Integrity Pledge by Dr. S.K. Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, Shri N. Gowri Sankara Rao, Director(Finance), other senior officials and all employees of MIDHANI on 26.10.2021 at 1100 hrs.
A series of events on the theme “Independent India @ 75 : Self Reliance with Integrity; स्वतंत्र भारत @ 75 : सत्यनिष्ठा से आत्म निर्भरता” have been organized for the employees. In view of Covid-19 pandemic, in order to ensure the social distancing various Quiz competitions on topic like “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, “MIDHANI Purchase Policy & Procedures 2020”, “Anti-corruption drive” were conducted in on-line mode. In line with directive from CVC, Vendor meet, and Walkathon were conducted and a skit “Jo Na Dikhe Vaha Nahin Hota Hai Kya” was also played by to motivate stakeholders across society to fight against corruption.
The week was concluded on 01.11.2021 with a Valedictory program. Dr. Madabhushi Sridhar Acharyulu, (Former CIC) Dean, School of Law, Mahindra University was Chief Guest for the Valedictory program. The program was graced by Dr. S.K. Jha, CMD, Shri N. Gowri Sankara Rao, Director (Finance), Dr. Upender Vennam, IPoS, Chief Vigilance Officer and other senior officials from MIDHANI. Dr. Madabhushi Sridhar Acharyulu shared his insightful views on the theme stressing on the importance of Vigilance activities in professional as well as personal lives. In the event, prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions held during the week. The session ended with a Vote of thanks to all employees of MIDHANI who were committed to contribute wholeheartedly to this program to succeed in its goal towards making India Self-reliant with integrity.
During the valedictory program “Jagruti” in house magazine was also released by the dignitaries.
