‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, a tree plantation campaign was organized at MIDHANI with a sense of commitment towards environment and with great enthusiasm involving Employees, Residents of MIDHANI Township, Apprentices, BPDAV School Students, Teachers and CISF Staff. The campaign was launched at MIDHANI on August 9, 2024, under the leadership of Shri Shalabh Tyagi, Joint Secretary (P&C). The event was attended by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Jha, Chairman and Managing Director of MIDHANI; Shri N. Gawri Sankar Rao, Director (Finance); Shri T. Muttukumar, Director (P&M); and Shri A. Ramakrishna Rao, General Manager (HR), as well as Shri V. Chakrapani and Smt. V.T. Rema, Independent Directors of the MIDHANI Board. The program continued until August 15, 2024. MIDHANI was tasked with planting 1,000 trees, a goal that was successfully accomplished.
