Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) has achieved a significant milestone in the indigenous development and airworthiness certification of critical superalloys, titanium alloys, and special steels for advanced aero engines to be used by HAL, Koraput.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive of the Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC) Shri A.P.V.S. Prasad presented the airworthiness certificate to the Chairman & Managing Director of MIDHANI Dr. S.V.S. Narayana Murty, granting clearance for series production of these materials for aero engine applications. The event was attended by Smt. K. Madhubala, Director (Finance), MIDHANI; along with senior officials from MIDHANI and CEMILAC.
The achievement reinforces MIDHANI’s role in strengthening self-reliance in advanced aero engine materials.
