MIDHANI organised an awareness session on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013 for all contract women employees, reaffirming its commitment to statutory compliance and a safe, inclusive workplace. The session focused on creating awareness about rights, responsibilities, and redressal mechanisms under the Act, while promoting dignity and respect at the workplace.
The programme was conducted by Ms. Supriya Sunil Kumar, PoSH Awareness Trainer, Hyderabad Security Council-Women’s Forum who guided participants through key provisions of the legislation and encouraged an open and supportive work environment.
On the occasion, Shri M. P. Ramesh, Additional General Manager (HR) (In-charge, Security, EMS and T&D), and Ms. MB Indu, Deputy General Manager (PMO & Civil) and Chairperson of the Internal Committee under the POSH Act, 2013, were present.
