MIDHANI, Heavy Water Board and BARC have joined hands to recover cobalt and nickel from plant reverts — strengthening domestic supply chains for critical metals used in batteries, EVs and superalloys, and advancing the circular economy.
The MoU was signed by Dr. S V S Narayana Murty, Chairman & Managing Director, MIDHANI; Shri V.V.S.A. Prasad, Chairman & Chief Executive, HWB; and Dr. Alok Awasthi, Associate Director, Materials Group, BARC, in the presence of Smt. K Madhubala, Director (Finance), MIDHANI, and Shri Sandeep Wadhwa, Executive Director, HWB.
