Ms. Meera Mohanty is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, belonging to the 2005 batch. At present, she is Joint Secretary (P&C), Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production. Prior to her present assignment, she was Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Ms. Mohanty is also a Government Nominee Director on the Board of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).
