Shri Surendra Prasad Yadav has completed his M.Tech and he is a 1996 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer of West Bengal cadre. He previously worked in Department of forest, Government of West Bengal in different capacities i.e. Divisional Forest Officer and Chief Conservator of Forest. He also worked as Executive Director in West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Limited for more than 7 years.
At present, he is Joint Secretary (Land Systems) in Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. He is also a Nominee Director on the Board of BEML Limited, Munitions India Limited, Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited and Yantra India Limited.
