MDN T250 is a 18Ni series martensitic ageing steel that is Co-free and is strengthened by Ti. Compared to conventional 18Ni 250 maraging steel, this grade is relatively cheaper. As this grade is Co-free, it would reduce the dependency on strategic material such as Cobalt. It is a promising maraging steel that finds applications in structural as well as tooling industries. Midhani has manufactured this grade indigenously for the first time.
