MIDHANI celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour at its Kanchanbagh campus. The celebrations began with Vande Mataram, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by Dr. S. V. S. Narayana Murty, CMD, MIDHANI, in the presence of senior officials, employees, CISF personnel, guests and members of the MIDHANI family.

Addressing the gathering, the CMD highlighted MIDHANI’s contribution to India’s defence preparedness and indigenous manufacturing. He called upon employees to focus on quality, productivity, innovation, indigenisation and customer satisfaction in support of the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. He also highlighted the NADCAP certification for the Heat Treatment Shop and S400 approval from GE Aerospace as significant milestones opening new opportunities in international markets and exports.

The celebrations featured vibrant cultural performances by BPDAV School students and recognition of excellence through awards for meritorious students, Best Employees, long-serving employees and outstanding sports performers.

The celebrations concluded with a renewed commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat, indigenous defence production and Viksit Bharat @2047.
