In line with Swachh Bharat Mission, Public Toilet Complex(for Gents & Ladies) constructed under Corporate Social Responsibility has been inaugurated today by Dr. S K Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, MIDHANI. The said toilet is located within the limits of P. S Kanchanbagh to keep the neighbourhood clean and eliminate open defecation. Amidst COVID-19 pandemic, this kind of facility helps in promoting good sanitation practices and designed to create safe place as the entire taps fitted are sensor taps with auto flushing technology.

MIDHANI under CSR has been spending its major funds in the area of Health & Sanitation. Prime focus has been in providing toilets in rural Government Schools of Telangana where the school children do not have proper Toilets. So far we have sponsored 67- Toilets along with maintenance being taken care by MIDHANI. On an average we are spending about Rs 32 lakhs annually only on maintenance and the beneficiaries have expressed great joy & satisfaction.

In similar lines, we trust the new facility provided by MIDHANI under CSR for public convenience shall be of great use to the public.
